Winnipeg ER Wait Times Longest In Years

According to a recent report, waiting times for Emergency Service (ER) in Winnipeg are the longest they have been in years. 

If you need medical assistance that is not life-threatening please consider going to a clinic, instead of the hospital. 

If you do need emergency care be aware that you will need to wait for a while. 

This was partly caused due to the pressure COVID-19 has been putting on the medical system. Canada has also been experiencing a doctor shortage in recent years that has only gotten worse since COVID-19 occurred.
