Emergency Numbers

9-1-1 

The emergency line for police, fire or ambulance. Use this when you need assistance immediately. 

If you have an emergency but can't talk then call 911. Wait for an answer then use your telephone's keypad to ‘talk’ to the dispatcher. Press 1 if you need police, 2 for fire and 3 for an ambulance.  

You can also text 911 if you live in a populated area. 

• Enter 911 in the number field (who you're sending it to) on the phone. 
• Tell them your emergency (what the emergency is, your location, and if you need police, firetruck, or ambulance). 
• Send message
• Once you get a response and begin talking to a dispatcher you can ask additional questions.
